Laura Appenzeller

Clarinet

Board duties: dues collection, jobs and volunteers

Kendall Childs

Viola.

Board officer: Secretary.

Other board duties: membership roster.

First season: 1994.

A former high school English teacher, Kendall now works for Pioneer Hi-Bred, and enjoys reading, gardening, and, of course, music.

Carolyn Knittle

Trumpet

Lynne Messina

Viola.

First season: 1997.

Board duties: fund raising 

Lynn graduated from Drake University with degrees in pharmacy and chemistry, and now  works at Mercy hospital. Her interests outside of music include gardening and renovating what she loving calls "our barn of a house." Lynn reports, however, that mostly she is kept busy with their four kids, ages 10 to 16.
